Christopher McDonald

A prolific American character actor whose smooth, self-satisfied manner has made him a go-to for smug villains and slick authority figures. He is remembered as the sinister infomercial host Tappy Tibbons in 'Requiem for a Dream' (2000) and as the golfing rival Shooter McGavin in 'Happy Gilmore' (1996), and he voiced Kent Mansley in 'The Iron Giant' (1999). A busy, dependable presence across film and television for four decades, he excels at oily charm and comic antagonism.
