At a public park staffed by a menagerie of oddball creatures, best friends Mordecai the blue jay and Rigby the raccoon are supposed to be groundskeepers, though they invest most of their energy dodging actual work. Their attempts to slack off and cure their boredom routinely spiral into cosmic catastrophe, dragging in their uptight gumball-machine boss, a hulking yeti foreman, and a lollipop-headed manager. What begins as a mundane workday reliably escalates into battles with time-traveling villains, vengeful arcade ghosts, or the fate of the universe itself. Wrapping surreal, high-concept absurdity in an easygoing 1980s sensibility, the animated comedy finds heartfelt friendship at the center of its gleeful chaos.

Mordecai and Rigby try and prank the Master Prank Caller to be the best prank callers, but he sends them back to 1982.

Rigby's estranged accountant brother comes back to help save the park from an audit. While everyone loves Don, Rigby wants nothing to do with him.

Rigby's Body
After Rigby eats an excessive amount of junk food, his body quits on him, leaving him a ghost-like consciousness. Mordecai and Skips must find his body before the day is over.

Mordecai and the Rigbys
After lying about having an awesome band, Mordecai and Rigby must get help from their future selves in order to learn how to play in time for the battle of the bands.
