Rich Sommer is best known as Harry Crane, the ambitious, increasingly compromised media man of 'Mad Men' (2007-2015), whose evolution from likable nerd to Hollywood operator was one of the show's slyest long games. Born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1978, and raised in Minnesota, he made his film debut as Doug in 'The Devil Wears Prada' (2006) and later recurred as sculptor-mathematician Harlan Emple on 'Elementary' and in 'GLOW'. He also appeared in 'King Richard' (2021) and does extensive voice work in video games, including 'Firewatch'. Affable surfaces with an opportunist edge became his specialty.
