Kim Possible reimagines the teen-hero formula with a cheerleader who saves the world between classes, balancing global espionage against supervillains with the far more harrowing terrain of high school. Christy Carlson Romano voices Kim with brisk competence, while Will Friedle's endearingly clumsy Ron Stoppable and his fearless pet naked mole-rat Rufus provide comic counterweight to the action. Nancy Cartwright and Tahj Mowry round out a supporting cast of tech-savvy allies and recurring nemeses who rarely stay defeated for long. Sharp, funny and unusually confident in its genre mashup, it became one of Disney Channel's most quietly influential animated hits.
