Adam West
Known for
American actor born in Walla Walla, Washington in 1928, indelibly identified with Bruce Wayne / Batman in the campy 1966 ABC series and its feature spin-off Batman: The Movie (1966). The show fame typecast him for decades, but he later reinvented that persona to great comic effect as the outsized Mayor Adam West on Family Guy, voicing the role from 2000 until his death in 2017. Other credits include the sci-fi Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964) and countless voice roles. His self-aware, deadpan Batman remains one of American pop culture landmarks.
