Fleeing a past that haunts her, Millie Calloway takes a job as a live-in housekeeper at the luxurious mansion of Nina and Andrew Winchester, a seemingly perfect couple. What is billed as a dream job soon turns strange: behind the closed doors of the attic hide secrets, humiliations, and a web of power in which Millie can't tell whether she is the hunter or the prey. Based on Freida McFadden's bestseller, it is a domestic thriller of suspense and betrayal, charged with sexual tension and twists, playing on the idea that nothing and no one is what it seems.
