An English character actor born in Oldham, Lancashire, Warren Clarke made a striking early impression as Dim, one of Alex's droogs, in Stanley Kubrick's 'A Clockwork Orange' (1971). He went on to a long, beloved television career, most notably as the gruff Superintendent Andy Dalziel in the crime series 'Dalziel and Pascoe'. He died in 2014.
