In a near-future England, young Alex DeLarge leads his gang of henchmen through nights of gratuitous ultraviolence, robberies and assaults, while secretly worshipping the music of Beethoven. When the State, obsessed with stamping out juvenile delinquency, locks him up, Alex submits to an experimental treatment that promises to free him in exchange for annihilating his free will entirely.
