Three decades after the events of the cult horror films, a middle-aged, chainsaw-armed slacker named Ash Williams has spent his years dodging responsibility, maturity and the demonic forces he once barely survived. When his own carelessness unleashes the flesh-possessing Deadites once more, the reluctant, wisecracking hero is forced to grab his boomstick and become mankind's last, most unlikely line of defense. Bruce Campbell reprises his signature role in a series that gleefully cranks up the splatter, slapstick and one-liners of its source into gory, horror-comedy excess. It's an outrageous, blood-drenched love letter to a franchise and its gloriously incompetent chosen one.
