Edward Lewis, a cold, wealthy corporate shark, hires Vivian, a spirited prostitute from Hollywood Boulevard, for a week to accompany him as his date at a series of social engagements during his stay in Los Angeles. What begins as a simple professional arrangement gradually turns into a relationship that defies the barriers of class, as her unfiltered zest for life begins to crack his pragmatic armor. A modern romantic comedy with the flavor of a fairy tale, which turned its two leads into icons and became one of the most beloved love stories of its decade.
