Stardom is a loose word, but Valorie Armstrong is a clear case of a star actress whose casting is itself part of a film's news cycle. Recognition of this size usually rests on a handful of titles, and this career is no exception. The film 'Pretty Woman' does more for the public profile than the rest of the filmography combined. 'Contact' is a second title with an audience of its own. By genre, comedy leads the list.
