In a bleak near future, an aging, worn-down Wolverine earns a little money as a driver while hiding the frail Professor Xavier in a refuge near the Mexican border. Mutants have all but vanished and Logan wants only to fade from the world, until a girl with powers identical to his own turns up, pursued by a sinister organization. Forced to protect young Laura and flee north, Logan confronts his own mortality and the weight of his violent legacy.
