“Fear is the most dangerous power”
6.3 /10 (2,200) NRage 2019 1h 39m
Science Fiction Action Crime
Director Jeff Chan
Screenplay Chris Paré
In Lincoln City, a percentage of the population is born with extraordinary powers, but far from being privileged they live marginalized below the poverty line and under the watch of a heavily militarized police force equipped with drones and combat robots. Connor, a young laborer with hidden abilities and a gravely ill mother who cannot afford treatment, ends up entangled with a criminal gang that also possesses powers in order to make quick money. Each heist sinks him deeper into a world from which there is no way out. A science-fiction thriller of dark, realistic tone that uses superpowers as a metaphor for social inequality.
