David S. Goyer closes the trilogy with a brasher, wisecracking tone, pairing Wesley Snipes's stoic warrior with a snarkier young supporting cast. Overstuffed and uneven yet propelled by comic-book bravado, it trades the gothic gloom of earlier chapters for glossy, breakneck spectacle.
