Captured and held in silence for a century by an occult schemer, Morpheus, the immortal ruler of the Dreaming, finally escapes to find his kingdom in ruins and his tools of power scattered across worlds. To rebuild his realm he must journey through waking reality, hell, and the borderlands of the mind, reckoning along the way with the responsibilities and cruelties of an ancient being learning to change. Adapted from Neil Gaiman's landmark comic, the series moves through gorgeous, uncanny mythology where dreams, nightmares, and the Endless walk among mortals. Lush, melancholy, and strange, it is dark fantasy built on the idea that even a god must answer for who he has been.
