Blade is a hunter born to a mother bitten by a vampire, an accident of birth that grants him the strength and powers of the undead without their weaknesses or their thirst. Turned into a relentless executioner of the species that took his family from him, he wages a war in the shadows against a vampire society operating in the bowels of the modern city. His crusade grows more complicated when an ambitious vampire born of human blood schemes to awaken an ancient god of darkness. Breakneck action wrapped in gothic style and stylized gore that redefined comic-book superhero cinema in the late nineties.
