Stuart Whelan is a marquee British actor who has been carrying major titles for years. He has worked in action more often than in any other register. The output is focused rather than vast, at 17 credits. The film 'The Hitman's Bodyguard' does more for the public profile than the rest of the filmography combined. 'Dumbo' is a second title with an audience of its own. None of this was obvious back in 2017.
