Based on an original concept by Bruce Lee, 'Warrior' drops martial arts prodigy Ah Sahm into the Tong Wars of 1870s San Francisco, where he becomes a hatchet man for one of Chinatown's most powerful criminal societies. Andrew Koji brings coiled physicality and simmering menace to the role, while Olivia Cheng's brothel madam Ah Toy and Jason Tobin's volatile Young Jun round out a world where survival means picking sides fast. The show fuses bone-crunching action with genuine period ambition, using its tong rivalries to dig into immigration, racism, and labor exploitation on the American frontier. It's a rare Western that lets its outsiders be the heroes instead of the obstacle.
