Kaitlin Olson swaps her usual comic wildness for something sharper as Morgan, a single mother whose extraordinary mind lets her read a crime scene faster and more intuitively than the detectives who've spent decades training for it. When her uncanny instincts land her an unlikely spot inside an LAPD task force, she's paired with Daniel Sunjata's by-the-book veteran detective, a partnership built on mutual exasperation before it earns any real trust. Judy Reyes and Javicia Leslie round out a squad that treats her outsider genius with equal parts suspicion and awe. It's a procedural that leans on odd-couple chemistry as much as its puzzles.
