Cracker
“I drink too much, I smoke too much, I gamble too much. I *am* too much.”
CreatorJimmy McGovern
Fitz is a criminal psychologist who reads people accurately and manages his own life very badly: gambling, drinking, and a marriage he is dismantling in real time. 'Cracker', written by Jimmy McGovern, ran three series in the mid-1990s and used the crimes as a route into the England around them — Hillsborough, race, class. Robbie Coltrane won the BAFTA for Best Actor three years running for the part.
