A recently widowed Miami paediatrician finds that his two grown daughters have moved back in and that the house he expected to have to himself is fuller than ever. The series was created as a companion to 'The Golden Girls', set in the same neighbourhood and sharing the occasional character, and NBC aired it for seven seasons between 1988 and 1995. Richard Mulligan played Harry Weston and won an Emmy for the role, with Dinah Manoff, Kristy McNichol and Park Overall around him, plus a dog called Dreyfuss.
