The centuries-old war between aristocratic vampires and savage Lycans rages on as death dealer Selene and the hybrid Michael go on the run, hunted for the secrets locked in their bloodlines. Their flight uncovers the ancient origins of both immortal species and awakens the first, most powerful of the vampire elders, a monstrous force bent on freeing his imprisoned Lycan brother. Len Wiseman doubles down on gothic action, drenching the sequel in blue-tinted rain, baroque mythology and stylized carnage, with Kate Beckinsale's leather-clad warrior once again at the bloody center of it all.
