Alongside transplanted mainland detective Danny "Danno" Williams, ex-cop Chin Ho Kelly, and rookie Kono Kalakaua, he takes on the islands' most dangerous criminals against a backdrop of surf, sun, and shadowy conspiracies. A modern reboot of the classic procedural, it pairs high-octane action and buddy-cop banter with the pull of ohana, or family, that binds the team together. Explosive cases, personal vendettas, and a lush Hawaiian setting give the crime drama both muscle and heart.
