Directed by David Ayer, 'Sabotage' is a grim, violent action-thriller starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of an elite DEA task force whose members start being murdered one by one after they skim money from a cartel bust. Gorier and nastier than a typical Schwarzenegger vehicle, it leans into paranoia and a genuinely mean streak. Critics found the tone muddled and the twists convoluted, and it underperformed at the box office. It is a minor, downbeat curiosity in Ayer's filmography.
