A masked and methodical crew storms a bank in the heart of Manhattan, seals the doors and takes dozens of hostages in what looks like a conventional heist. The detective assigned to negotiate their release arrives distracted by corruption allegations hanging over him, unaware that the gang's leader has a plan far more cunning than it appears. As the standoff drags on, it emerges that the real prize is not the money. A cerebral, elegant heist thriller that toys with the viewer as much as its characters toy with one another.
