After his father's death, T'Challa returns to Wakanda to take the throne of this African nation which, hidden behind the facade of a poor country, is in truth the most advanced on the planet thanks to vibranium. But his reign is threatened from within and without by Killmonger, a rival with a painful past and a radical vision of the role Wakanda should play in the world. Ryan Coogler directs a superhero film with its own voice and cultural weight, blending spectacle, dazzling Afrofuturism, and a villain of deeply human motivations. A fable about identity, legacy, and the responsibility of power.
