Catherine Lloyd Burns is an American actress in the front rank of the profession known to audiences who follow almost nothing else about the industry. Recognition of this size usually rests on a handful of titles, and this career is no exception. 'Malcolm in the Middle' remains the anchor of the filmography, thanks to Caroline Miller. 'Michael' is the other credit that keeps getting cited. She has worked in comedy more often than in any other register.
