Jesse Custer is a hard-drinking, small-town Texas preacher whose faith has all but curdled, until a supernatural entity fuses with him and grants the power to bend anyone to his spoken will. Determined to use this gift to find God, who has abandoned his post in Heaven, Jesse hits the road with his gun-slinging ex-girlfriend Tulip and a hedonistic Irish vampire named Cassidy. Adapted from Garth Ennis's cult comic, the series is a gloriously profane, blood-soaked road trip through a hypocritical, apocalyptic America. Wildly violent and darkly funny, it fuses grindhouse spectacle with a genuine reckoning over sin, redemption, and divine indifference.
