Outer Range
“The land has its secrets.”
CreatorBrian Watkins
Wyoming rancher Royal Abbott, already fighting a neighboring family's claim on his land, discovers an impossible black void in his west pasture — a hole that seems to swallow time itself. 'Outer Range', created by Brian Watkins for Amazon Prime Video, stars Josh Brolin in his first television lead as the taciturn Abbott patriarch, with Imogen Poots as the drifter camping on his property and Lili Taylor as his devout wife. Premiering in 2022 and running two seasons, the series crossbreeds the neo-Western family saga with cosmic mystery, wrapping land feuds, a disappearance and buried guilt around its unexplained phenomenon.
