Rajesh Tailang is a screen veteran with a career measured in decades rather than seasons. Playing Babul in 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' put him in front of the widest audience of the career. 'Mirzapur' rounds out the better-known part of the filmography. The early stretch of the career is the part least seen today. Neither the cinema nor the television half of the career can be called the side project.
