Rachel Pickup is one of the defining actresses of her generation whose face is familiar even to people who have not seen the films. 28 years in, the career has settled at the top end of the business. If a single title has to stand for the whole career, it is 'Wonder Woman'. The filmography also holds 'The Gilded Age'. Recognition arrived some way into the filmography, not at the start. Most of the work sits in drama.
