Peter New is a hard-working Canadian actor, quietly recognizable. 'Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed' accounts for a good share of the rest of the recognition. He came to screen work at 32, later than most. Employment has been the constant here: 23 years of it. Playing Big Wayne in 'Backrooms' put his face in front of a much larger audience.
