Some names carry a film on their own, and Patrick Kennedy is a British actor recognized well beyond any single market. For a very large audience, Patrick Kennedy is English Father from 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'. He also headlines 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker'. None of this was obvious back in 2002. Drama is where most of the work sits. The career has been built at studio scale rather than at the margins.
