Elisabeth Sparkle, once a Hollywood star and now the host of an aerobics show, is dropped by her network the day she turns fifty. Desperate to reclaim her splendor, she turns to a mysterious black-market substance that promises to generate a younger, more perfect version of herself, on the condition that the two share their time in a balanced way. The other, Sue, takes on a life of her own, and her insatiable ambition begins to devour her creator. Coralie Fargeat delivers a feminist body horror as visceral as it is stylized, a devastating satire on the obsession with youth, with a committed Demi Moore and a climax of unbridled gore.
