A solitary cat, used to fending for itself, sees its world flooded by a colossal deluge that forces it to seek refuge in an old drifting boat. On board it meets a mismatched group of animals, a lazy capybara, a hoarding lemur, a wounded bird and a dog, with whom it must learn to coexist and cooperate to navigate a landscape transformed by water. Gints Zilbalodis delivers an animated fable without dialogue or words, of contemplative beauty and immersive sound, praised for its hypnotic simplicity.
