On a poultry farm in the north of England that runs like a prison camp, the hens live in terror: if they stop laying eggs, they end up in the oven. Ginger, determined not to die in a pie, dreams of freedom and organizes escape after escape without success, until Rocky, a boastful American rooster who claims to know how to fly, drops out of the sky. With his help and plenty of teamwork, the hens hatch a desperate plan to escape before they are turned into pastries. The creators of 'Wallace and Gromit' deliver their first claymation feature, a stop-motion adventure comedy that wittily parodies prison-break cinema.
