In April 1970, the Apollo 13 mission lifts off for the Moon with astronaut Jim Lovell in command, but an explosion in an oxygen tank more than 300,000 kilometers from Earth turns the journey into a desperate fight for survival. With the ship crippled, the oxygen dwindling, and cold seeping into the cabin, the three crew members and the Houston control team must improvise impossible solutions to bring them back alive. Based on true events, Ron Howard's film transforms a space failure into a thrilling epic of ingenuity and collective courage, with Tom Hanks at the helm and the famous line 'Houston, we have a problem.'
