Ted Striker is a traumatized former war pilot who has developed an uncontrollable fear of flying, but he boards a commercial plane determined to win back the flight attendant who left him. The flight turns into a catastrophe when the spoiled dinner poisons the crew and half of coach, and he is the only one with the experience to take the controls. Against his own terror and with the help by radio of an even more unstable air traffic controller, he must land the aircraft safely. A delirious, utterly ludicrous parody comedy, packed with visual jokes, wordplay and gags piled on without pause, a landmark of absurdist humor.
