The New Jersey native spent five seasons as gossipy secretary Elaine on 'Ally McBeal' (1997-2002), then created her defining role: the monstrously vain actress Jenna Maroney on '30 Rock' (2006-2013), which earned her an Emmy nomination. She kept mining comic self-delusion as Jacqueline in 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' (2015-2019). On stage she won a Tony for the revival of 'Nine' (2003).
