J.J. Abrams

J. J. Abrams is an American director, producer, and screenwriter born in New York City, and one of the most influential figures in contemporary entertainment. He first rose to prominence creating era-defining television series such as Alias, Lost, and Fringe, honing his signature blend of serialized mystery and bold narrative twists. On the big screen he revived two of science fiction's most iconic franchises, rebooting Star Trek with spectacular energy and taking the helm of Star Wars with The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker. His work is defined by a propulsive mix of action, adventure, and mystery, a strong sense of spectacle, and his trademark "mystery box" approach to storytelling.
