Garrett Hedlund
A farm kid from small-town Minnesota, Garrett Hedlund was plucked from obscurity at nineteen to play Patroclus in 'Troy' (2004). He became a face of his generation's blockbusters as Sam Flynn in 'TRON: Legacy' (2010), but his best work leans quieter: the melancholy folk singer Johnny Five in the Coens' 'Inside Llewyn Davis' (2013) and, above all, the traumatized veteran Jamie McAllan in 'Mudbound' (2017), arguably his finest performance. He joined the heist thriller 'Triple Frontier' (2019) and the Stallone series 'Tulsa King' (2022). Also a singer, he specializes in bruised, restless American men.
