Eileen Atkins
Known for
Eileen Atkins is a durable British actress whose career has outlived most of the formats it was recorded on. The career opened quietly, the way most long ones do. The career has been split between cinema and television rather than settled in either. Eleanor of Aquitaine in 'Robin Hood' is the role that outgrew the rest. 'Beautiful Creatures' is close behind in visibility. She won the Emmy for 'Cranford'.
