David Hemmings
Born in Guildford, England in 1941, David Hemmings became the face of Swinging London after starring as the fashion photographer in Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow-Up (1966). He followed with visible roles in Camelot (1967) and Barbarella (1968), then reinvented himself in middle age as a heavyset character actor in Gladiator (2000) and Gangs of New York (2002). He also directed episodic television throughout the eighties. Sharp, ironic and often self-deprecating, he became one of British cinema's more unusual second acts.

David Edward Leslie Hemmings (November 18, 1941 – December 3, 2003) was an English film, theatre and television actor as well as a film and television director and producer.
He is noted for his role as the photographer in the drama mystery-thriller film Blowup (1966), directed by Michelangelo Antonioni. Early in his career, Hemmings was a boy soprano appearing in operatic roles. In his later acting career, he was known for his distinctive eyebrows and gravelly voice.
