Casting directors have long relied on Bernard Kates, an American actor, familiar in the way a regular face is familiar. Work in drama appears more often than anything else. At 21 titles, the filmography is a substantial one. Out of a long list, 'Judgment at Nuremberg' is the entry with the largest audience, with Max Perkins as the role. 'The Phantom' appears elsewhere in the filmography.
