吴思远，香港著名导演、监制，香港电影导演会永远荣誉会长、香港电影工作者总会会长，并曾创立思远篮球队。
1966年，吴恩远投考邵氏第6届南国实验剧团编导科，接受戏剧训练，做过场记，1969年在电影《剑胆》担任副导演，1971年导演第一部作品《疯狂杀手》。1973年创办思远影片公司，编导过《香港小教父》、《廉政风暴》等多部电影。吴思远于1977年开始转任监制，制作了成龙主演，袁和平导演的成名作《醉拳》、《蛇形刁手》，开创了谐趣功夫片潮流，还有新浪潮导演徐克的《蝶变》。
1965年-2000年期间，吴思远担任香港电影金像奖主席，现在则是香港电影工作者总会会长。
