精灵世界一年一度的秋季盛典马上又到了，恰逢难得的蓝月亮丰收之年，需要制作一把全新的蓝宝石权杖。负责修补工作的精灵小叮当（梅·惠特曼 Mae Whitman 配音）意外被任命为这次权杖制作的主管，个性毛躁的她虽然有好朋友特伦斯（杰西·麦卡尼 Jesse McCartney 配音）帮忙，但很快就起了争吵与之绝交，还在无意中打碎了蓝宝石，自觉大难临头。一次偶然的机会，小叮当得知传说中的一个神秘岛上藏有一面魔镜，可以帮助实现一个愿望。小叮当决意偷偷前往神秘岛，希望能重获一块蓝宝石。然而在这趟惊险的旅途中，小叮当却发现了另外一样珍贵的无价之宝…… 本片为迪士尼制作的《奇妙仙子》系列作品中的第二部。
