一对随时在逃跑的兄妹，哥哥机智灵敏，妹妹患有心智方面的疾病。他们不停地从孤儿院，儿童医院，监狱等等一些福利机构中出逃。因为所有的人要把哥哥和妹妹分开，这是哥哥不能忍受的。当他们的妈妈来到孤儿院，哥哥以为他们终于可以回家了，而妈妈却告诉哥哥这个不是他的妹妹。哥哥彻底的崩溃了，带着妹妹疯狂地逃出孤儿院。从此，两个人开始了一段灰暗艰难的生活……
