贝努瓦·雅克是一位法国电影导演兼编剧，在欧洲影坛拥有丰富多彩的职业生涯。出生于巴黎的雅克以担任玛格丽特·杜拉斯电影助理导演开启事业，曾参与《娜塔莉·格朗热》《印度之歌》等作品，并在1973年短片《画框姐妹》中担任演员。1975年，他转型编剧并执导了由安娜·卡里娜主演的《音乐杀手》，由此开启导演之路。他执导的四十余部电影中，最受美国观众瞩目的当属1990年由朱迪丝·戈德雷什主演的《失魂家族》以及1995年由维吉妮·拉朵嫣主演的《单身女孩》。2003年，他在伦敦皇家歌剧院执导了由安东尼奥·帕帕诺指挥的马斯奈歌剧《维特》。2012年2月，其执导的《再见，我的王后》为第62届柏林国际电影节揭幕。2014年作品《三心两意》曾入围第71届威尼斯国际电影节金狮奖角逐。2024年7月，雅克因涉嫌强奸（包括未成年人）被正式起诉，目前已被禁止从事导演工作及接触未成年人。
