Volker Prechtel
Known for
Time and sheer volume of work have made Volker Prechtel a veteran actor who has treated acting as a trade rather than a spotlight. Drama accounts for the largest share of the work. Work has kept arriving for 52 years, which is its own kind of achievement. The single most recognizable credit is 'The Name of the Rose', playing Malachia. 'The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser' is the other credit that tends to come up.
