Ulf Pilgaard reached veteran standing the slow way, as an actor who has been at it long enough for audiences to grow up watching him. The first credits arrived long before the title most people know. Drama accounts for the largest share of the work. 66 credits across 59 years is a rate most careers never reach. 'Help! I'm a Fish' is the longest-standing point of contact with the audience. 'Nightwatch' counts among the more visible credits.
